H2's November eGaming Data/Update Paper is Available

Today H2 Gambling Capital officially launches their latest eGaming dataset and update paper. With all the Q3 company results no in and our analysis complete of the November data we track H2 are now expecting the global eGaming industry will be worth US$26.83bn (gross gaming yield – stakes less prizes but including bonuses) in 2009.
Excluding state lotteries Q3 came in at US$5.98bn just 0.5% lower than the record Q2 and 13.1% ahead YoY. H2 now expect the Q4 value of the sector, excluding state lotteries, to reach a record US$6.47bn, a 13.7% increase YoY.
H2 have calculated that the expected value of the 2009 global eGaming sector equates to total wagers of just under US$400bn being conducted via interactive market channels. Impressive for a sector that is barely 15 years old and only just maturing through regulation.
Over the past decade the value of the sector has increased by nearly 7.5 times or a CAGR of 23.7%. H2 now expect the value of the global eGaming sector to reach US$36.24bn by 2012, which would represent a CAGR of 10.5% over the coming three years. During this time H2 expect mobiles, monoplies and the media to become increasingly important in the sector.
